Hands up if you have ever used one of those standard “Coming Soon” or “Under Construction” pages you found laying around on your server. I am sure most people have done this, and at the end of the day we do not always have the time to be creating unique coming soon pages for every client.
When a website is going to take quite some time to build it could be a better idea to focus just a little more attention on the holding page. Sure a standard coming soon page will suffice for up to a few days but if you are looking to take weeks or even months on the development of a website, then you should give a little TLC to your clients holding page.
