I must have been to hundreds if not thousands of business networking events over the years, and while networking I am guaranteed to find myself with a hand full of business cards within minutes of entering the room. Out of the thousands of business cards I am handed on a regular basis I do not find that many really jump out and grab hold of my attention.
So how and why is this happening? Are we all trying to look too business savvy and professional that as designers we forget to add the most important design ingredient of them all, or maybe it is not being able to convince the client how important creativity and uniqueness is when it comes to their brand and appearance.
The next time you are sat staring in to the screen of your Mac while trying your hardest to think of how you will make this next business card really unique, stylish, eye catching, and maybe even a little crazy, take a look around for inspiration. In fact why not take a look at this nice little collection of really funky and unique business cards to get your creative taste buds going.

Wow! Very impressive, creative design work. So many times in the past I could have used this. Definitely keep it for future reference.
great post
I know just what you mean as I do a lot of networking myself and find it very boring. You have shown some excellent examples but I am not sure how people at my groups would react when being handed one.
you’re welcome
I think it not only takes a very creative designer to come up with a business card such as these, you also need to be daring enough to use them when in a room full of suited up business people.
These are amazing, I love them all.
Was an interesting article, thank you..
I love the business card guy with the huge tummy; i wish there was more info on where the card came from.
